As part of the Eastern Health Group family of Skilled Nursing Facilities and Rehabilitation Centers, we are passionate about creating a workplace culture that values teamwork, compassion, and excellence.We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team at Thalia Gardens Rehabilitation and Nursing in Virginia Beach, Virginia. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the nutritional needs of our residents are met while maintaining the highest standards of food quality and sanitation.Responsibilities include:Assist with menu planning, food preparation, and food service to meet the dietary needs of our residentsEnsure the timely and efficient delivery of food and snacks to residentsMaintain a clean and sanitary environment in the kitchen and dining areasLabel, date, and store food and supplies according to facility policiesAssist with inventory control and ordering of food and suppliesCollaborate with the dietary team to plan and implement special events and activitiesRequirements include:High school diploma or equivalent requiredOne years of experience in food service or healthcare preferred, but not requiredAbility to lift, bend, and move equipment and supplies as neededStrong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive informationWhat we offer includes:A dynamic and supportive work environment with a team-oriented cultureOpportunities for professional growth and developmentCompetitive pay and (placeholder for salary)If you are a dedicated and compassionate individual who is passionate about providing exceptional care and service, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity to join our team at Thalia Gardens Rehabilitation and Nursing.
