Dietary Cook Part TimeSunnyvale Gardens Post Acute is seeking a skilled and reliable Dietary Cook to join our culinary team. You will prepare nutritious, high-quality meals that meet the specific dietary needs of our residents in a healthcare setting.Job OverviewPay Rate: $26.00 – $28.00 per hourJob Type: Part TimeSchedule: 1:00 -7:30 PMDays: Varying days across the week with rotating weekend shiftsLocation: Sunnyvale Gardens Post AcuteKey ResponsibilitiesPrepare and cook meals according to standardized recipes and prescribed therapeutic diets.Ensure proper portion control and appealing food presentation for residents.Maintain strict food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards in the kitchen.Set up workstations and prepare ingredients for daily meal services.Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and work areas throughout the shift.QualificationsExperience: Required experience cooking in a healthcare environment (e.g., skilled nursing, assisted living, or hospital).Knowledge: Understanding of therapeutic diets, texture modifications, and food safety regulations.Skills: Ability to read recipes, manage time efficiently, and work in a fast-paced environment.Availability: Must be able to work the early morning shift (4:30 AM) and participate in the weekend rotation.Physical: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.BenefitsCompetitive hourly payOpportunities for professional growthIf you are a passionate cook who wants to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents, we want to hear from you.We are an equal opportunity employer.
