Dietary Director
Job Summary:
Bethesda Care Center, a leading provider of exceptional care in Fremont, Ohio, is seeking a compassionate and experienced Dietary Director to join our team! As a Dietary Director at Bethesda Care Center, you will play a vital role in ensuring the nutritional well-being of our residents by overseeing the planning, preparation, and service of resident meals. Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operation of the dietary department, including menu planning, food preparation, and service
Develop and implement menu programs that meet the nutritional needs of our residents
Manage food inventory, order supplies, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Supervise and train dietary staff to ensure exceptional service and quality
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of quality and sanitation
Collaborate with nursing staff to develop individualized meal plans and ensure that residents' dietary needs are met
Monitor and report on food costs, waste, and other metrics to improve operational efficiency
Develop and maintain relationships with local food vendors and suppliers

Requirements:
2+ years of experience in dietary management or a related field, preferably in a healthcare setting

High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or certification preferred
