n nShift Details:
nnVarious hours 6am-7pm
n nDietitian Duties & Responsibilities:
nnnThe position consists of reviewing records of clients, and medications to understand their nutritional needs.
n
nnBased on assessment, they would develop a personalised meal plan.
n
nnThey may provide individual counseling and conduct training or workshops.
n
nnThey would assist with developing structured nutrition plans and menus.
n
nnAlso, assist in supervising activities of the kitchen department.Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and develop individualized nutrition care plans.
n
nnProvide evidence-based medical nutrition therapy for patients across various clinical settings.
n
nnCounsel patients and families on nutrition, disease management, and healthy lifestyle choices.
n
nnMonitor patient progress and modify nutrition interventions as appropriate.
n
nnCollaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.
n
nnInterpret laboratory values and clinical data to support nutrition recommendations.
n
nnMaintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
n
nnEnsure compliance with state, federal, and facility nutrition standards and regulations.
n
nnEducate healthcare staff on nutrition-related best practices as needed.
n
nnSupport quality improvement and patient education initiatives.
n
n n**Minimum Qualifications **
nnnCurrent, valid, and unrestrictedNY license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
n
nnMinimum of one (1) year/sof recent experience as anDietitian.
n
nnAdditional certifications may be required.
n
nnCopy of current, completedPrimary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
n
nnCopy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
n
