Job description
We are hiring a full-time Dietitian to join our dynamic care team at Southbridge Rehabilitation & Health Care Center!
n$5,000 sign-on bonus available!*
n32 hours per week. 8a-4p schedule. Up to $40 an hour with weekly pay.
nAs a Dietician, you assist in planning, organizing, developing and operation of the Dining Services Department to ensure that quality nutritional services are provided on a daily basis and that the dietary department is maintained in a clean, safe and sanitary manner.
nEducation and Experience:
nnnMust possess as a minimum, a Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics from an accredited college or university.
n
nnMust possess a current registration as dietician by the Committee of Dietetic Registration.
n
nnA minimum one (1) year experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility or other related medical facility preferred.
n
nnTraining in cost control, food management, diet therapy, etc., preferred.

nnNew graduates welcome!
n
n nDuties and Responsibilities:
nnnMonitor weights/weight changes and provide nutrition intervention when necessary.
n
nnComplete all nutrition evaluations on admissions.
n
nnComplete weekly/monthly weight audits.
n
nnDocument all nutrition-related resident visits.
n
nnCreate and update resident care plans.
n
nnMust be able to provide point of service meal delivery.
n
nnFollow therapeutic diets guidelines, including proper temperature and serving time.
n
nnEducate department staff in all aspects of dietary functions.
n
nnAssure the planning, preparation and serving of all therapeutic diets.
n
nnOversee that sufficient inventory is maintained according to policy and procedure including emergency supply.
n
nnFormulate menu planning within accepted therapeutic guidelines.
n
nnAssure that menus are accurately adhered to and appropriate substitutes are made per policy.
n
nnEnsure quality and quantity of all food delivery.
