Digicon Press OperatorWe are currently recruiting for a Digicon Press Operator to join our team! The Digicon Press Operator sets up and operates the Digicon Omega Series printing press to produce pressure sensitive labels and related products. Employees will have unlimited growth potential and the chance to advance their careers.Pay Range: per hourResponsibilities:Produce high quality labels to meet the job specifications outlined on the label order to match customer standardsInputs data including time and materials used into job management softwareReads job order and loads jobs into pressInserts shaft through core and secures roll on the press in feed positionSplices end of roll to stock remaining on press and adjusts tension and feed as directedStarts Digicon press, adjusting speed and alignment of stock to the print cylinder as necessaryAdjusts printing impression as necessaryInspects for imperfections and makes adjustments as necessaryCommunicates job specific information or changes to the supervisor in a timely manner to minimize production downtimeReport any production or press issues to supervisor in a timely mannerKeeps inventory usage accurate at all timesPerforms daily, weekly and monthly maintenance as requiredKeeps work areas clear and organized; maintains housekeeping standards
