Job description

Snap Finance is hiring a detail-oriented Digital Designer (freelance/contractor) to lead eCommerce creative production. This remote role in Utah focuses on modular promotional assets spanning email, paid media, social, and on-site placements, including generative AI compositing and art direction.

Responsibilities

Produce visual creative for recurring promotional and seasonal themes for eCommerce-driven campaigns in collaboration with the in-house design team.

Design modular promotional components that can be scaled across email, paid media, social, and on-site placements.

Create high-impact email elements and, when required, full email creative according to briefs and established guidelines.

Assist digital merchandising by developing promotional assets that align with the team’s strategy.

Translate approved marketing strategy and creative direction into conversion-focused digital assets.

Implement creative iterations based on performance insights, A/B testing, and campaign results shared by the team.

Generate composite generative AI imagery and product shots using vendor-provided source files, then art direct outcomes to match brand style and campaign strategy.

Maintain organized, scalable files and reusable components in Figma and the team’s Digital Asset Management (DAM) tool.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in digital design, ideally in e-commerce, retail, or performance marketing environments.

Portfolio demonstrating eCommerce campaigns and promotional digital creative (portfolio link required).

Experience creating assets designed to scale across multiple digital channels.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma .

Strong skills in typography, layout, and image retouching.

Experience using generative AI tools for composite imagery and photo compositing.

Familiarity with A/B testing, performance metrics, and optimization principles.

Ability to manage multiple concurrent promotional campaigns in a deadline-driven setting.

High attention to detail and a strong ownership mindset.

Reliable daytime availability for collaboration and sync with the US-based team (calls and feedback sessions).

Strong communication skills and the ability to take and implement direction efficiently.

Proven collaboration skills working seamlessly with an in-house design team.

Technologies

Adobe Creative Suite , Figma , Wrike , generative AI tools, ChatGPT , Adobe Firefly , Runway .

Engagement Details

Part-time freelance/contractor engagement (not a full-time employee role).

15-20 hours per week , with potential to scale up as projects require.

US-based or overlapping daytime availability preferred for real-time collaboration.

Regular async and sync touchpoints with the in-house design team and Creative Director via Teams and email .

Access to Figma , Wrike (project management tool), and the team’s DAM platform.

Candidate must have their own Adobe Creative Suite and generative AI tools to create composited imagery from vendor-provided source files.

Experience producing light motion graphics or animated digital assets, particularly for this role.

Strong generative AI tool proficiency (including ChatGPT, Adobe Firefly, Runway) for creating and iterating composite lifestyle photography and product imagery from vendor-provided source files, with solid art direction.

Proven eCommerce and retail creative experience, with a strong portfolio demonstrating this highly preferred.

Experience designing within CMS-driven eCommerce environments.

Experience collaborating with Growth teams in performance-driven marketing organizations.

Demonstrated use of AI tools to improve creative efficiency and output.

Ability to successfully balance multiple concurrent projects.
