Digital Designer
Job Summary
The Web Designer for Wrangler will support our creative team in delivering elevated digital experiences. This role is ideal for a designer that thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a strong eye for detail and understands how to translate an iconic heritage brand into fresh, modern digital storytelling. You must have the proven ability to develop and execute consumer experiences digitally. You also have experience collaborating with other cross-functional partners such as brand marketing and e-commerce teams.
Responsibilities
Concept, design, and develop digital creative for Wrangler.com through e-commerce initiatives and digital brand campaigns to support overall digital website desgin
Follow and maintain brand identity standards, user-centered design principles, and industry best practices. Brand standards and creative vision will be supplied.
Work collaboratively and cross-functionally on conceptual, functional, and impactful user experiences
Design against established wireframes and visualizations to execute designs against visual mocks
Create responsive banners (desktop, tablet, mobile) and animated GIF’s/elements for launches and site promotions on our website as well as emails and various digital assets
Create e-mail marketing campaigns with a consistent voice and cadence against digital marketing briefs
Experience
Well versed in Photoshop and Adobe XD with knowledge and experienced application of HTML and CSS
Highly capable of modifying existing digital assets (brand photography & video) in such a way as to fit into web and email templates
Experience working collaboratively and discussing designs as well as being able to quickly iterate ideas based on multiple avenues of feedback quickly and impartially
Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal and time management skills
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from four-year college or university
Skills
Has excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate to internal and external stakeholders.
Possesses impeccable attention to detail and the ability to multi-task, prioritize and juggle projects effectively. Meets personal deadlines and helps ensure that team and agency deadlines are never missed. Demonstrates resourcefulness and intellectual curiosity.
Successfully and collaboratively partners with cross-functional teams to align on key brand stories, product launches and initiatives
Has an eye for visual aesthetics, including formatting and layout, and produces polished deliverables
4+ years in web design. Experience in retail e-commerce a plus.
