About the Role
We are seeking a commercially driven Digital Marketing & E-Commerce Growth Manager to generate qualified inbound leads, grow online sales and improve the digital visibility of our office-supplies business. AU Exp 3-5 Year preferred.
This is not a brand-awareness-only position. The successful candidate will be accountable for increasing website traffic, quote requests, customer enquiries, online orders and recurring B2B revenue.
You will develop and execute strategies across SEO, AEO, GEO, paid advertising, landing pages, email marketing and e-commerce conversion optimisation.

Key Responsibilities
Inbound Lead Generation
Develop and manage an inbound marketing strategy that generates qualified B2B enquiries.
Create targeted campaigns for different customer segments, industries and product categories.
Build lead-generation funnels for quote requests, bulk orders, reseller enquiries and account applications.
Improve lead quality and reduce the cost per qualified enquiry.
Work with sales staff to track leads from initial enquiry through to conversion.
Implement lead scoring, automated follow-up and customer-nurture campaigns.
SEO, AEO and GEO
Develop and execute a comprehensive organic search strategy.
Conduct keyword, competitor, market and customer-intent research.
Optimise product pages, category pages, service pages and location-based landing pages.
Improve technical SEO, internal linking, page speed, structured data and website architecture.
Create content designed to rank in traditional search engines and AI-generated search results.
Optimise website content for:
SEO: Search Engine Optimisation
AEO: Answer Engine Optimisation
GEO: Generative Engine Optimisation
Build commercial content around pricing, bulk purchasing, product comparisons, specifications, delivery and frequently asked questions.
Monitor rankings, organic traffic, conversions and revenue generated from search.
Landing Pages and Conversion Optimisation
Build high-converting landing pages for products, promotions and customer segments.
Create separate campaigns for retail, wholesale, reseller, corporate and government customers.
Write or coordinate clear, sales-focused website copy.
Improve calls to action, enquiry forms, quote forms and account-application processes.
Conduct A/B testing across headlines, offers, layouts, forms and product bundles.
Analyse website behaviour and identify where potential customers abandon the buying process.
Continuously improve conversion rates across desktop and mobile devices.
E-Commerce Growth
Manage and optimise the company's e-commerce platform.
Improve product titles, descriptions, specifications, images and category structures.
Develop strategies to increase average order value, purchase frequency and repeat orders.
Create product bundles, volume-buy offers, cross-sells and upsells.
Manage promotional campaigns, discount structures and abandoned-cart recovery.
Improve online ordering for both retail customers and B2B account holders.
Support marketplace expansion where commercially viable.
Ensure pricing, stock, product information and promotional offers remain accurate.
Paid Advertising
Plan and manage Google Search, Shopping, Performance Max, remarketing and display campaigns.
Manage Meta and LinkedIn campaigns where relevant to the target market.
Build campaigns around high-intent searches and commercially valuable product categories.
Monitor budgets, cost per lead, customer acquisition cost and return on advertising spend.
Create dedicated landing pages for each major paid campaign.
Reduce wasted advertising spend through ongoing keyword, audience and campaign optimisation.
Email Marketing and Automation
Build segmented email campaigns for prospects, existing customers and inactive accounts.
Develop automated sequences for:
New enquiries
Quote follow-ups
Abandoned carts
Account applications
Repeat-order reminders
Customer reactivation
Product launches and promotions
Segment campaigns by customer type, order history, product interest and purchasing frequency.
Measure revenue generated from each email campaign and automation.
Reporting and Sales Alignment
Build clear weekly and monthly performance dashboards.
Report on:
Qualified inbound leads
Quote requests
E-commerce sales
Conversion rates
Organic traffic and keyword rankings
Cost per lead
Customer acquisition cost
Average order value
Repeat-purchase rate
Return on advertising spend
Marketing-attributed revenue
Work closely with management and sales teams to identify priority products and target markets.
Use CRM and sales data to determine which campaigns produce actual customers and revenue.
Recommend changes based on commercial results, not vanity metrics.
Required Experience
Minimum 5 years' experience in digital marketing, e-commerce or inbound lead generation.
Demonstrated experience generating measurable online sales or qualified B2B leads.
Strong practical experience in SEO, AEO, GEO and content strategy.
Proven ability to build and optimise sales-focused landing pages.
Experience managing Google Ads, Shopping campaigns and remarketing.
Strong understanding of e-commerce conversion-rate optimisation.
Experience with email marketing, CRM systems and marketing automation.
Strong analytical ability across Google Analytics, Search Console and advertising platforms.
Experience working with large product catalogues or multiple SKUs.
Excellent written English and commercially focused copywriting skills.
Australian B2B or e-commerce market experience is highly regarded.
