If you want to be challenged to up your game and make a difference, then join us in giving the world reason to cheer!Position Summary:The Groundskeeper is responsible for regular and preventative maintenance of the facility landscaping to include all plants, lawn, irrigation, concrete walkways and loading docks. In addition, the Groundskeeper's primary role in learning how to measure and paint the fields based upon the sport in which is being played on particular field to ensure they are ready for event days.Essential Functions:Measure and paint playing fields to ensure they are ready for event daysMow, edge, verticut, topdress, and brush field on an as needed basisSpray fields to eradicate weeds and pestsEnsure all outdoor, equipment, such as mower and carts are maintained and operational at all timesMake sure loading dock areas are neat, clean, and organized dailyRequired Qualifications:A minimum education level of: High School Diploma or its equivalencyMust have a valid driver's license (to drive gators and carts in/around the facility)Good communication and customer service skills to be able to work well with other departments and provide good service internallyMust be able to work event nights, weekends, and holidaysAbility to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs.Ability to stand for extended periods of 4 to 6 hours at a time.Payscale: $21.85This position is not eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan requirements.Full-time: We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes: medical, dental and vision insurance, paid holidays, vacation and sick time, company paid basic life insurance, voluntary life insurance, parental leave, 401k Plan (with a current employer match of 3%), flexible spending and health savings account options, and wellness offerings.AEG reserves the right to change or modify the employee's job description whether orally or in writing, at any time during the employment relationship.
