Our Dining Room Assistants work well in a fast-paced team environment and help create an outstanding dining experience for our guests. Dining Room Assistantsremove tableware between courses and clear and reset tables after guests leave.
Dining Room Assistants take used silverware, dishes, and glassware to their appropriate stations for washing and restock appropriate areas.
Dining Room Assistants help servers with food delivery and, where applicable, bread service at tables.
Dining Room Assistants respond to guest requests and communicate with servers and hosts as needed to ensure efficient seating, table utilization and customer service.
Required skills and qualifications to be a Dining Room Assistant with Soba and Umi: Able to communicate clearly and effectively with others
Exceptional customer service skills
Restaurant experience not required
Physical requirements for Dining Room Assistant with Soba and Umi: Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours)
Able to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 40 pounds
