Direct Care Worker (DCW) - HomecareAllentown, PennsylvaniaPosition Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Direct Care Worker (DCW) to join our healthcare team on the day shift. The DCW provides direct patient care and support under the supervision of nursing staff while helping maintain a safe, comfortable, and caring environment.Pay Rate: $13 per hour Job Type: Full-Time, Part-Time, and Flexible Scheduling AvailableResponsibilitiesAssist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.Measure and record vital signs.Assist with ambulation, transfers, and mobility.Maintain patient comfort and safety.Report changes in patient condition to nursing staff.Document care provided according to facility policies.Support infection prevention and safety procedures.Provide compassionate and respectful patient interactions.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required.Previous healthcare, DCW, caregiver, or patient care experience preferred.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to lift, move, and assist patients safely.CPR/BLS certification preferred.BenefitsCompetitive payMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid training and career advancement opportunitiesSupportive team environmentApply Today!
