We're looking for compassionate, dependable, and motivated people to join our team as Part-Time Direct Care Workers – $17.69/hour.Why You'll Love Working With UsNo experience required – we provide paid training!Be part of a mission-driven organization making a real impact.Gain valuable hands-on experience in human services.Build strong, rewarding connections with the individuals you support.What You'll Do:Provide person-centered support to adults with intellectual, physical, and/or behavioral disabilities, promoting dignity, choice, independence, and self-determination.Assist with daily living and personal care, including meals, bathing, dressing, toileting, household tasks, medication administration, and other needs based on the individual's support plan.Support community involvement and skill development by accompanying individuals to appointments, recreational activities, volunteer opportunities, and other community experiences.Maintain a safe, supportive, and welcoming home environment, while implementing individualized service plans, behavioral strategies, and health and safety procedures.Document and communicate effectively by completing required records, monitoring and reporting changes in individuals' health or behavior, and working collaboratively with supervisors and the individual's support team.What to Expect:Each day brings something new and rewarding.Because our homes operate 24/7, scheduling may include weekends and holidays.The work can be physically and emotionally demanding at times—but the difference you make in someone's life is immeasurable.If you are caring, reliable, and ready to be part of something bigger, JEVS is the place for you.DSP shifts available:Fri 4p-12a & Sat 3p-11p (16hr's weekly) Borbeck BRequirements:High School Diploma/GEDValid driver's license is a mustWhat's in it for you:401(k), with company matchTuition assistance: Available to all employees with at least one year of service, for those enrolled in job-related, accredited, degree or certificate level coursesHealth, Dental, and Vision coverage (if applicable based on weekly hours worked)Paid vacation and sick timePre-tax commuter benefitsContinuing education, professional development opportunities, retreats, and trainingWellness workshops and activities and access to the Employee Assistance ProgramEmployee referral bonusThe base pay for this position is $17.69 per hour!
