Direct Care WorkerUniversity Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Workers to join our team in Inkster, MI. As a Direct Care Worker, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals with daily living activities, promoting their independence and enhancing their quality of life. This role requires a caring attitude and a commitment to delivering exceptional care in a home setting.Responsibilities:Assist clients with personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.Support clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times.Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment.Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.Monitor and report any changes in the client’s condition or behavior to supervisors.Follow care plans and communicate effectively with clients and their families.Requirements:Previous experience in direct care or related field is a plus.Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with clients and team members.Reliable transportation to and from client homes.Ability to pass background checks.Physical ability to perform duties such as lifting, standing for long periods, and assisting with mobility.Benefits:Hourly wage ranging from $14.00 to $19.00, paid twice a month.Flexible scheduling to accommodate your needs.Opportunities for professional development and training.Supportive work environment focused on employee well-being.About the Company:University Home Care Inc is committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care to individuals in the Inkster, MI community.
