Direct Care WorkerAbaCares Services is dedicated to providing compassionate and reliable care to individuals needing assistance with their daily activities. We strive to ensure that our clients receive the highest standard of care while maintaining their dignity and independence.We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Care Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist clients with personal care and household tasks to help them maintain their independence and quality of life. This role requires a high level of professionalism, empathy, and a strong commitment to client care.Location: Lebanon, PA, 17042Schedule: Tuesday & Thursday only, 1PM-5PMScope: light housekeeping, laundry, minor assistance in bathingKey Responsibilities:Meal Preparation: Assist with planning, preparing, and serving meals.Housework/Chore: Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and other chores.Managing Medications: Assist with medication reminders and management.Hygiene: Assist with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, grooming, and toileting.Dressing: Assist with dressing and undressing, ensuring client comfort and appropriateness.Locomotion: Assist with mobility, including walking, using stairs, and transferring from one place to another.Eating: Assist with feeding and meeting nutritional needs.Phone Use: Assist with making phone calls as needed.Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent.Previous experience in caregiving or a related field preferred.Compassionate, patient, and reliable.Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently.Excellent communication skills.Ability to handle physical demands such as lifting and assisting with mobility.Benefits:FREE healthcare coverage for our employees.Competitive pay.Comprehensive training and ongoing support.Opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of clients.Supportive and collaborative work environment.If you are passionate about providing high-quality care and meet the above qualifications, we would love to hear from you.
