Direct Care WorkerJoin University Home Care Inc as a Direct Care Worker in Milan, MI, where you will provide compassionate support and assistance to individuals in their daily living activities. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of clients by ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.ResponsibilitiesAssist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.Provide support with mobility and transfers to ensure client safety.Help with meal preparation and feeding when necessary.Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to the supervisory staff.Engage clients in social and recreational activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.RequirementsPrevious experience in healthcare, home care, or related field is an asset.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods.Compassionate attitude with a commitment to client dignity and respect.Reliable and punctual with good time management skills.Must be able to pass background checks.BenefitsCompetitive pay ranging from $14.00 to $19.00 per hour, paid twice a month.Opportunities for professional growth and training.Supportive work environment with a focus on teamwork.Flexible scheduling options.About the CompanyUniversity Home Care Inc is dedicated to providing high-quality home care services that promote the independence and well-being of our clients.
