Title: Field Service Engineer
Location: Boca Raton, FL (plus travel)
Pay: $55,000 - $90,000

Insight Global is seeking a Field Service Engineer for a top warehouse equipment solutions client. This candidate will serve as the face of the organization at customer warehouse and fulfillment facilities, helping clients maximize the performance, reliability, and longevity of battery-powered mobile workstation equipment. The ideal candidate combines strong technical troubleshooting and repair abilities with outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills. Responsibilities include equipment diagnostics, maintenance, hardware upgrades, end-user training, and operational consulting, all while working closely with customer operations and maintenance teams. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically skilled professional who enjoys solving problems in the field, building long-term customer partnerships, and driving operational success in a highly visible and travel-focused role.
Must-Haves:
3+ years of technical field service, maintenance, or equipment support experience
Strong troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair experience with mechanical, electrical, or industrial equipment
Hands-on break/fix support, hardware repair, and equipment upgrade experience
Strong customer-facing communication and relationship-building skills
Experience training end users and explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Ability to work independently in a field-based environment
Ability to travel 55-75% throughout assigned territory
Valid driver's license
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and perform physical installation and maintenance work
Plusses:
CRM, quoting software, or forecasting experience
Additional hardware upgrade and break/fix expertise
Active passport for potential international travel
Industrial equipment maintenance and operations experience
Day-to-Day:
Serve as the primary on-site ambassador supporting customers at warehouse and fulfillment facilities
Conduct equipment evaluations and performance assessments
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair battery-powered mobile workstation equipment
Perform maintenance, hardware upgrades, and break/fix repairs
Deliver hands-on customer and end-user training
Educate customers on equipment best practices, safety, and lifecycle management
Build relationships with operations, maintenance, and leadership teams
Identify opportunities for operational improvements and equipment optimization
Support customer satisfaction initiatives and account management activities
Travel extensively throughout the assigned territory to customer sites
