Direct Support ProfessionalLakes Region Community Services (LRCS) is accepting applications for both full time and part time Direct Support Professionals (DSP) in both our Residential and Day Programs! We have openings in both Plymouth and Laconia areas! All shifts available including 7am-3pm!Direct Support Professionals provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities and/or acquired brain disorders. No experience needed! On the job training provided!Responsibilities of a DSP:Provide support in the communityCreate and/or adhere to schedules designed for individualsKnow and adhere to wheelchair and other medical equipment safety guidelinesMedical and personal care as neededMeal prep (Residential)Housekeeping (Residential)Skills needed to be a successful DSP:Excellent communicationAbility to think quicklyCommitmentPatienceFlexibilityWillingness to learn new skillsHonestyTeam playerWork under minimal supervisionSalary range is $17.50-$20.00 depending on education and experienceRequirements:Minimum of high school diploma/GED required.Job types: Full-time, Part-timeValid NH drivers' license, reliable vehicle, and agency-determined minimal motor vehicle insurance coverage are required. Satisfactory completion of background and applicable pre-employment physical capacity screening checks also required.
