Harmony Day Program is now hiring part-time Direct Support Professionals M-F 8-4PM to join our vibrant team in Woodland, CA.About Harmony Day Program:Harmony Day Program is a one-of-a-kind facility in Woodland, designed specifically for individuals with developmental disabilities, including those who are medically fragile. Our program features sensory stimulation rooms, media spaces, specially adapted computers, games, and activity stations tailored to enrich the lives of our clients.With a client-centered approach, Harmony Day Program was built around the unique needs of our participants, ensuring every activity fosters growth, independence, and joy.Position Overview:As a Direct Support Professional, you'll provide hands-on assistance to our clients in a supportive and engaging day program environment. Working part-time from 8:00AM - 1:00PM or 11AM - 4:00PM, Monday through Friday, you'll help create meaningful experiences that empower individuals to reach their fullest potential.Key Responsibilities:- Assist clients with daily living activities, including feeding, toileting, and mobility.- Facilitate and engage in sensory, recreational, and skill-building activities.- Provide care and support tailored to the needs of medically fragile individuals.- Collaborate with team members to ensure clients' safety, comfort, and enjoyment.- Maintain a clean and organized activity space.Qualifications:- Compassionate and dedicated to helping individuals with developmental disabilities.- Experience in caregiving or working with adults with disabilities is a plus but not required.- Reliable, patient, and team-oriented.- Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition clients as needed.- Must have a Valid Drivers LicenseWhy Join Us?- Work in a purpose-driven, supportive environment.- Enjoy part-time hours that fit your schedule.- Be part of a team making a real difference in the lives of others.
