Direct Support Professional (DSP)We are looking for people who are committed to enhance the quality of life for people with developmental disabilities by providing the best in-home care with empathy, excellence and integrity. We serve all of Stark County, including Canton, Hartville, East Sparta, Massillon and Louisville. We are also licensed to serve Summit and Franklin Counties.ResponsibilitiesAs a DSP, you will be primarily responsible for providing companionship and assistance with meal preparation, laundry and light housekeeping, including:Provide social companionshipSupport with a variety of daily living tasks and remindersTransportation to appointments, errands and social outingsLight housekeeping and meal preparationStandby assistance with personal hygieneOvernight safety assistanceQualificationsNo healthcare certification is required!A compassionate heartValid driver's license and transportation a plusThe ability to lift, push and pull up to 25 poundsDaily access to email, the Internet, and a mobile phoneWhy Join The Industry?Competitive compensationFlexible schedulingTraining and support for our caregiversCompensation: $14.00 - $18.00 per hourProfessional caregivers go by many names: homemakers, home care aides, home health aides, certified nursing assistants, personal care assistants, direct care workers.
