ComForCare South Bay Caregiver PositionComForCare South Bay is hiring individuals with the passion to provide one-on-one care to adults with developmental disabilities in their homes. It is our CaregiverFirst promise that our caregivers will be:Treated with respect and dignity.Provided exceptional training on a regular and ongoing basis.Are never alone in the field - support is always available.Thoughtfully matched with clients with whom they are compatibleDuties:Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent and in their own homes.Provide compassionate and personalized care to individuals in needHandle meal planning and preparationAssist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up living areasProvide companionship and engage in social activities with clientsMonitor and report any changes in the client's condition to the appropriate medical professionalsDocument tasks and create care notes for each visitFollow all HIPAA guidelines to ensure client confidentialityProvide companionship and respite services for the family.What we're looking for:A passion to serve and help others live their best lives possible.High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate.(If Applicable) A state Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification is required.Access to reliable transportation.Previous experience as a caregiver with special needs clients is a bonus.Starting Salary Range: $19-21Your safety is our top priority. We provide COVID-19 training and personal protective equipment (PPE) to all employees.
