Direct Support Professional (DSP)What We OfferHourly pay of $22-$24.50 (based on client care needs). Total compensation can exceed $27-$28/hr with employer-paid benefits and retirement match. Annual $0.50/hour wage increase on your anniversary. $150 sign-on bonus. Health (We contribute $422 toward your health premium per month!). As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will provide person-centered care and support to individuals in their homes and in the community. You'll assist with daily living activities, implement individualized goals, and foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages growth and independence. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping others, enjoys being active in the community, and is looking for a meaningful, hands-on position with real impact.Key ResponsibilitiesCare and SupportAssist clients with daily tasks such as hygiene, meals, and light housekeeping while encouraging independenceImplement goals outlined in the Individual Support Plan (ISP)Foster healthy routines and support client development in line with their abilities and interestsCommunity EngagementAccompany clients on outings, appointments, or errandsPromote social inclusion by encouraging community interaction and positive relationshipsProvide safe and reliable transportation using your own vehicleSafety and CommunicationEnsure safety in both home and community settingsRespond calmly and effectively in challenging situations, including medical or behavioral emergenciesMaintain regular communication with the administrative teamAccurately complete all required documentation and reportingPhysical RequirementsAbility to assist with lifting, bending, walking, and other physical aspects of caregivingCapable of handling behavioral challenges and supporting individuals with higher needsReady to Join Us?If you're passionate about helping others live their best lives and want to be part of a team that truly makes a difference, we'd love to hear from you!RequirementsWhat We're Looking ForMinimum QualificationsMust be at least 18 years oldPrior experience as a DSP or in a similar caregiving/support roleComfortable supporting individuals with high behavioral needsAvailable to work weekends (required)Own reliable transportation for use in transporting clientsValid Driver's License and current auto insurance (minimum 100k/300k liability coverage)Smartphone with internet access for documentationAbility to pass a DHS criminal background checkPreferred SkillsCompassionate and reliable with strong interpersonal skillsDetail-oriented and able to follow instructions preciselyComfortable working independently and as part of a teamAbility to build positive relationships with clients, families, and coworkers
