Direct Support Professional (DSP)Goodwill's mission is to transform the lives of individuals with disabilities and other barriers through pathways to independence and the power of work.Brief summary of direct support professionals (DSP's):DSP's teach, supervise and direct individuals with developmental disabilities in the activities of daily living.DSP's are similar to home health aides, assisting with feeding, clothing, toileting, and other hygiene needs.DSP's assist in providing self-care training in areas such as cooking, housekeeping, or hygienic practices.DSP's administer medications as ordered and document the delivery of each.DSP's transport individuals in personal vehicle on scheduled outings and activities in order to promote community inclusion.Direct support professional (DSP) requirements:Valid driver's license & auto insuranceHS diploma or GEDReliable transportationDirect support professional (DSP) pay: $ /hr depending on experienceDirect support professional (DSP) benefits:Paid trainingPTO & holiday payRetirement planMedical, dental, vision, & life insuranceReferral programFlexible scheduleEmployee discountGoodwill Columbus' headquarters are located at 1331 Edgehill Rd, Columbus, Ohio in Grandview area, however the locations for the roles are throughout Columbus Ohio, north, south east and west.
