Direct Support Professional / DSPMake a difference every day by joining CCRES as a Direct Support Professional / DSP!NOW OFFERING PAID CREDENTIALS - Eliminating upfront costs for necessary clearances & TB screening!SUMMARY:The Direct Support Professional / DSP is a direct service provider supporting consumers in community settings using a person-centered planning approach to assist individuals in acquiring, maintaining, and improving self-help, domestic, socialization, vocational and adaptive skills.Location: 100% community based with hubs in Downingtown and West ChesterSchedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-4pmAdjusted schedules available if providing transportation from consumer homes to or from the Achieve programMonday-Friday 7:00am-3:00pmMonday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pmStarting rate of $18/hour progressing to $20/hour11 paid holidays10 days Paid Time Off (PTO) per fiscal yearPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide 1:1, 1:3 or 2:3 ratio services in community settings to assist individuals in acquiring, maintaining, and improving self-help, domestic, socialization, vocational and adaptive skills.Provide support in the general areas of self-care, communication, fine and gross motor skills, mobility, personal adjustment and recreation.Provide transportation as necessary to enable the individual's Community Participation Service in accordance with his or her ISP.Support the individual to participate in community events, associations, groups, functions, volunteer associations or community work projects.Bridge communication gaps and facilitate meaningful social connections within the individual's community with the ultimate goal of employment or volunteer opportunities.Perform other duties as required.
