Direct Support ProfessionalHarry Meyering Center supports people with developmental and intellectual disabilities in their homes and community. Make a difference every day as a Direct Support Professional. You'll assist individuals in reaching their personal goals, encourage greater independence, and provide support both in the home and throughout the community. Along the way, you'll build meaningful relationships while gaining valuable experience in the human services field.Wage: $18.00 per hour for full-time and part-time employees.Perks: Paid Training - Competitive Benefits - Overtime Pay - Flexible SchedulingLocation: Multiple locations in North Mankato, Mankato, and Eagle Lake. Schedules Available:8–40 hours per weekMornings, evenings, or overnightsEvery other weekend requiredHoliday/fill-in opportunitiesFlexible schedulingQualifications:18+ with a high school diploma or GEDValid U.S. driver's license & acceptable driving recordMust pass MN DHS Background StudyStrong communication skillsWillingness to learn, no experience requiredPreferred experience: CNA, PCA, DSP, caregiver, or similarWhat You'll Do:Provide respectful, individualized care.Assist with personal cares. (dressing, bathing, feeding, etc.)Support daily living activities. (cooking, cleaning, laundry)Participate in community outings. (bowling, shopping, movies, exercise)Follow health, safety, and HIPAA guidelines.Complete documentation and other assigned tasks.
