Direct Support Professional (DSP)- ResidentialMCAR, Inc. - Hermitage, PASince 1952, MCAR, Inc. has been the leading provider of services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are seeking dedicated Direct Service Workers for our residential services who want to help us continue to provide services that improve the quality of life for people with special needs in Mercer County.**Excellent starting wage****Outstanding benefits**Job Responsibilities:Ensure health and safety of individualsProvide emergency support when necessaryParticipate as a team memberAssist individuals with supporting their goalsAssist with daily living skills such as personal hygiene care, shopping, laundry and meal preparationTransportation to doctor appointments, other programs, employment, etc.Documentation on online system requiredAbility to read and implement and Individual Support Plan (ISP)Job Requirements:Driver's License, Social Security Card and High School / GED diploma for pre-employment reviewOperational VehicleVehicle RegistrationVehicle InsurancePre-Employment Criminal Background, Physical Examination, TB Test, Drug-ScreenAbility to be in the group home for 24 hours - 6am to 10pm regular hours and 10pm to 6am sleep time.EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYERApplications now being accepted.
