Direct Support Professional | Evening SchedulesNational Center on Institutions and Alternatives Inc - Baltimore, MD 21244OverviewSalary Range $19.00 - $19.00 Hourly Position Type Full-Time/Part-Time Job Shift Flexible Hours includes Evenings/Weekend Category Direct CareDescriptionCommunity Living Associate Full-Time | Non-Exempt | Community Living Services | Baltimore County, MDNCIA is seeking compassionate Community Living Associates to support adults with developmental disabilities in residential settings. This role ensures health, safety, and personal growth through individualized support and community integration.This position offers Evening or Overnight schedulesKey Responsibilities:Implement Person-Centered Plans, behavior plans, and nursing care plansProvide supervision, personal care, and life skills trainingAssist with meal preparation, household upkeep, and community activitiesDocument daily progress, incidents, and health data in agency systemsTransport residents to appointments and activitiesRespond to crises and communicate concerns to medical and supervisory staffMaintain a positive, respectful, and safe home environmentQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience1–3 months of related experience or training preferredAbility to read and interpret safety and procedural documentsStrong verbal and written communication skills, including ability to communicate effectively with individuals using their preferred methodBasic math skills including fractions, percentages, and interpreting bar graphsAbility to solve practical problems and follow written, oral, or diagrammed instructionsCertified Medication Technician (CMT) – Maryland Board of NursingValid driver's license and reliable transportationAcceptable driving record per agency and insurance criteriaWillingness to use personal vehicle occasionally for resident transportMake a meaningful impact in the lives of others while working in a supportive, mission-driven environment.NCIA offers a strong and competitive benefits package, including: • Health, dental & vision insurance • Health Savings Account with employer contributions • 403(b) retirement plan with employer matchNCIA is a nonprofit that empowers people through unconditional support, equity, and compassion.
