Direct Support Professional (DSP)Join our dedicated Camp Red Cedar team as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. If you are compassionate, patient, and eager to provide essential care and support, we encourage you to apply.Key Responsibilities:- Assist individuals with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household chores- Support clients in developing independence and life skills through personalized training and encouragement- Monitor and document clients' progress, behaviors, and health status accurately- Implement individualized care plans in collaboration with team members and family members- Promote a safe, respectful, and positive environment for clients at all times- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, fostering social engagement and community participation- Follow all safety protocols and adhere to agency policies and proceduresRequirements:- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience in caregiving or human services preferred- Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude towards individuals with diverse needs- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation may be required- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks and lift or assist with mobility as neededWe offer a supportive work environment, ongoing training opportunities, and the chance to positively impact lives.
