Location: Honesdale, PA; Beach Lake, PA NOW HIRING: Direct Support Professional (DSP) Shift: Part-time Pay Range: $15.00-$18.00 per hourTraditional Home Care, a locally owned and operated Home Care Agency, is seeking reliable, experienced direct support professionals to provide one-on-one, non-medical support to our individuals diagnosed with intellectual, developmental disabilities, autism, mental health, behavioral diagnoses, etc. Job duties include:Assist individuals with personal care services (bathing, grooming, dressing)CompanionshipAppropriate communication/social skillsLight housekeeping and choresEnsuring a safe environment and teaching basic safety skillsMeeting individual goals and outcomesPromoting community involvement (outings, activities, errands, etc.)Position requirements:High School Diploma or GEDPrior experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP)Mobile Device & EVV Requirements:This position is in compliance with the 21st Century Cures Act, which mandates Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) for home care/home health services. As part of this, you will be required to use a mobile device to log visits and track service hours.
