Direct Support ProfessionalPony Bird is seeking Direct Support Professionals to join our team to enrich the lives of individuals with disabilities.STARTING PAY OF $19.00 PER HOUR PLUS DIFFERENTIALSEVENING SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL $2.00 PER HOUR | MIDNIGHT SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL $2.50 PER HOUR | WEEKEND SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL $2.00 PER HOUREXCELLENT BENEFITSPAID TRAININGWhat does a Direct Support Professional do?Support individuals to reach their full life potentialMaintain quality of life with dignity and respectAssist individuals with Activities of Daily Living (ADL's) and provide total care supportsEncourage independence to the individual's capacityServe as a positive role model to promote appropriate adult behaviorProvide accurate documentationAdhere and implement Individual Support PlansAssure a safe, clean home environment upholding accreditation standards and regulationsTeam-player who can also work independentlyMaintain attendance according to the policy of the agency and positionSchedule and Work Location:Day Shift 6:45am - 3:15pm *Required to work every other weekendEvening Shift 2:45 p.m. to 11:15 p.m. *Required to work every other weekendOvernight Shift 10:45 p.m. - 7:15 a.m. *Required to work every other weekendHillsboroQualifications:High School diploma or GEDInterpersonal communication skillsAbility to follow oral and written directions and problem solveAbility to evacuate individuals served in the event of a fire, natural disaster, or another emergencyMust be able to perform CPR and crisis intervention techniques, paid training provided.Light computer skills to include data entry and word processingAbility to lift/push/pull up to 50 poundsAbility to stand and walk for extended periods of timeAbility to be flexible to provide the needs of the individuals servedLearn more about what it's like to be a member of the Pony Bird team at Bird, Inc is an Equal Opportunity Employer EOE/M/F/D/V/SO
