Direct Support Professional – Lancaster, CAJob Title: Direct Support Professional Hourly Rate: $22.00- $27.00/hr. We are looking for individuals who share our Mission, Vision, and Core Values.Here's What You'll Do:The Direct Support Professional supports individuals with developmental disabilities by promoting their health, safety and well-being. Our Direct Support Professionals proudly serve as an advocate to improve the overall quality of life for our clients.Essential Functions:Outline and prepare daily routine(s) for clients' (visual and active) as written in Individual Program Plan.Assist clients with bathroom needs.Change clients' undergarments and/or clothing if needed.Prepare daily meals and assist with clean-up.Pick-up/drop-off clients in company vans from/to their home/facility (if necessary).Education and Experience:Direct Support Professional Certificate – DSP Year 1 & Year 2 (Must obtain within first 12 months of Hire)Obtain your RBT within the 1st Year of EmploymentFirst Aid/CPR & CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention (Preferred or willing to obtain)Must be at least 21 years of ageMust have a California Driver's LicenseCandidate must successfully pass all pre-employment requirements, including but not limited to a background check.Physical RequirementsMust be able to lift 30lbs.Able to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.Benefits: Full-TimeComprehensive benefits options, including medical, dental, vision, life, STD, LTD, hospital indemnity, critical illness, and accident insuranceHSA, Health Care FSA and Dependent Care FSAEAP (Employee assistance program)Employee discount programPTO (Paid time off)Dayforce Wallet Daily PayPre-Tax 401(k)After-Tax RothTuition discount through Capella UniversityRedwood Family Care Network takes a ZERO tolerance stance on abuse and neglect.
