What You'll Do
As a Direct Support Professional , you will:
Provide supervision and support in accordance with each individual's person-centered ISP
Assist individuals in working toward personal goals and outcomes
Support activities of daily living, including meal preparation, hygiene, and household tasks
Provide transportation to appointments and community activities as needed
Assist individuals in accessing community resources and supports
Administer or assist with medications in accordance with MAP certification requirements
Complete required documentation and reports accurately and timely
Work collaboratively with clinical and program staff to support quality services
Promote healthy, safe, and socially appropriate behaviors
Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Required
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to provide proof of education
Valid driver's license
Ability to pass all required background screenings, including FBI clearance when applicable
Preferred
Associate's or Bachelor's Degree
Prior experience in human services, healthcare, or caregiving roles
Ability to obtain MAP certification
Schedule
Part Time
Shifts available across residential programs in Connecticut regions
Opportunities available in Trumbull, North Branford, Oxford, Monroe
Physical Requirements
Ability to assist individuals with activities of daily living
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift as needed during routine job duties
Ability to safely transport and accompany individuals in the community
Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
