You will promote their safety, well-being, independence, and personal goals while serving as their advocate.Essential ResponsibilitiesFollow and support daily routines according to each client's Individual Program Plan (IPP)Participate in developing and supporting IPP/ISP goalsMaintain a clean, healthy, and safe living environmentFacilitate social, recreational, and community activitiesAssist with personal care (grooming, toileting, dressing, hygiene)Prepare meals and assist with clean-upTransport clients using company vehicles as neededReport incidents and communicate daily with administratorsPerform other duties as assignedEducation & Experience RequirementsHigh School Diploma or equivalentAt least 1 year of personal or professional caregiving experience Preferred: experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or mental health needsDSP Certificate (Year 1 & 2) and CPI training Preferred or willing to obtain within 6 months of hireFirst Aid/CPR Preferred or willing to obtain within 30 daysMust be at least 21 years oldValid California Driver's LicenseMust pass all pre-employment screeningsPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 lbsAbility to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditionsRemote Work: No — this is an in-person role.
