Direct Support ProfessionalPAY RANGE: $20.00 - $20.50 per hour (Depending on years of experience)JOB SUMMARY:Make a real difference by helping individuals with developmental disabilities live vibrant, meaningful, and independent lives on their own terms. As a Direct Support Professional, you'll build trusted relationships and provide personalized support that honors each person's strengths, choices, and goals. We are seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) who values people for who they are and is excited to walk alongside adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities as they engage in the activities they love and pursue their goals.Work Schedule: Saturday and Sunday 3 PM - 11 PMA Day in the Life:You'll spend your days assisting with care to a group of people who enjoy:Relaxing at homeWatching TVParticipate 2xs a month in the communityThis group is looking for someone who is kind, dependable, a good communicator, and most of all—someone who enjoys spending time with them. If you're someone who takes joy in building real connections and being present in the moment, you'll thrive here.How You'll Support:Provide full support with daily routines such as total hygiene care, cooking, cleaning laundry housekeeping, transporting to and from day programs Drs. Appointments and medication administration etc.Help promote independenceBe patient and respectful in action and speakingAdvocate for each person's rights and help build their confidence and sense of selfKeep clear, respectful records to ensure continuity of care and supportMinimum Requirements:Must be at least 21 years oldValid driver's license with at least 2 years of driving experience and no more than 3 pointsComfortable driving agency vehicles and assisting people who use wheelchairsAble to lift up to 75 pounds, stand for long periods, and provide physical assistance when neededCompletion of Medication Technician Training Program (or willingness to complete)What We Offer:Health, dental, and vision coveragePaid time off, holidays, and paid parental leaveRetirement plan with employer contributions (403b)A culture rooted in trauma-informed care, where every person is treated with dignity, compassion, and respectJoin Us!
