Direct Support ProfessionalParkesburg PA 19365 Job Summary:Compensation rate: up to $20/h DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCERequirements:Must be at least 18 years of ageBachelor's degree in a related field is requiredAt least 3 years of experience working with individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDDs)Valid driver's licenseWe are looking for caring, compassionate, and energetic DSPs to provide supportive living to individuals in assisting them in daily living and personal care services.
Responsibilities:
Assist with day to day tasksTransport and accompany individuals to doctor appointments or community outings.Administer simple prescribed medications (if certified)Assist individuals with personal care.Log individuals provided servicesProvide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support
