Part-Time Caregiver / Direct Support ProfessionalAre you looking for meaningful part-time work where you can make a difference in someone's life?ACCESS is hiring a compassionate and dependable Caregiver / Direct Support Professional in Cabot. A Direct Support Professional, often called a DSP, provides hands-on support to individuals with disabilities in their homes and communities.In this role, you will help individuals build independence, develop important life skills, participate in activities, and work toward personal goals. No previous direct support experience is required. ACCESS will provide the training you need before you begin working directly with a client.What You Will DoAs a Caregiver / Direct Support Professional, you may:Assist clients with daily living activities and personal goalsHelp clients develop skills such as cooking, budgeting, communication, and household routinesPlan and participate in recreational and community-based activitiesProvide transportation to appointments, activities, and other locationsEncourage independence, personal choice, and community involvementFollow individualized support and behavior plansMaintain a safe, respectful, and positive environmentDocument services and communicate important updatesCelebrate progress and help clients reach meaningful milestonesWhy Join ACCESS?At ACCESS, the work you do matters.
