Direct Support Professional - ResidentialHelp Others to ASPIRE HIGHER!When a group of families came together in 1957 to find services for their children with developmental disabilities, ACLD was born. Get in on the ground floor and train for an entry level career in the healthcare/education field!In this position, you will:Help residents achieve/exceed their personal goalsProvide structure and emotional supportAssist in resolving behavioral issuesHelp people supported with personal hygiene needsComplete detailed, accurate documentationTransport program participants to and from medical appointments and recreation activities using Agency vehiclesWe require:Clean, valid NYS Driver's licenseHigh School diploma or equivalentSome experience working with the intellectually and developmentally disabled population preferred; but will train.
