Sign On Bonus-up to $1,000 Day Shifts, Evening Shifts, and Weekend Shifts Available New Hiring Rate: $20.00 Several locations throughout Madison County areas, including Oneida, NY; Canastota, NY; Chittenango, NYSummary: The Direct Support Professional provides self-care training and assistance in daily living to individuals with developmental disabilities residing in a group home setting.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Provides individualized care as outlined in the individuals Life Plan, or ISP.Assists Individuals in the primary activities of daily living (toileting, feeding, cooking, cleaning) as outlined in individual's ISP to promote independence.Maintains files and produces service notes and documentation on assigned caseload.Documents and submits reports to the program as outlined in the assigned department.Maximized consumer's social skills in order to enable him/her to live in their community by providing activities in a community setting.Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or GED; Valid NYS driver's license and 12 months driving history. Six months to one-year related experience and or training preferred.About the ARC'S Residence Program: In the residential program, the most caring people are the trained staff who provide 24-hour supervision, care, and guidance to residents.
