Individuals with emotional, behavioral and cognitive disabilities, including autism, are served through a broad spectrum of treatment settings, including a Children's Step-Up/Step-Down Program, Adult Community Living Arrangements as well as a co-educational boarding and day school.QualificationsThe IDEAL candidate will...Be 21 years of age or older (required)Have a minimum of a High School Diploma/GEDHave a CT valid driver's licenseExperience with the developmentally disabled or as a caretaker is preferred but not requiredHave excellent written and verbal communication skillsBe able to attend paid in-house orientation on weekdaysBe able to lift up to 50+ pounds and perform Safe and Positive ApproachesCompany OverviewCompany OverviewDevereux is one of the nation's largest nonprofit organizations, providing services, insight and leadership in the evolving field of behavioral healthcare.
