Direct Support ProfessionalWe are currently hiring for weekends part time, full time Direct Support Professional, for our residential home care facility in Phoenix/Peoria IMMIEDIATELY NOW HIRING!!!Do you have a passion for caring for others? We believe that the answer should always be YES, as we foster the "Good Enough for Me" attitude so that it is carried on into the homes.Other facilities may provide a home; however, we are home!Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision (eligible), differential on weekends (for day and evening shifts only) and PTO after completion of 60-day probationJob Description:DSP Direct Support Professional provides direct care to residents including: compliance with the house rules, participating in meal preparation, transporting to and from activities and medical appointments, assist in the self-administration of medication, completing daily documentation, implement treatment goals and objectives under the supervision of the Program Manager, assist residents in their independent daily living skills, maintain the house environmental needs. To succeed in this role, you must be a reliable and self-motivated professional with excellent organizational skills. Our ideal candidate will also be familiar with basic bookkeeping and office administration processes. Someone with Total Care Experience preferred.Key Responsibilities:Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and groomingAssist with meal preparation, feeding, and medication administrationSupport individuals with activities of daily living, such as hygiene, housekeeping, and laundryProvide companionship and emotional support to clientsAssist individuals with mobility, including transferring and positioningAccompany clients to appointments and community activitiesMaintain accurate records and documentation of care providedCommunicate effectively with clients, families, and coworkersQualifications:High school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience working with individuals with disabilities preferredExcellent communication skillsAbility to lift and transfer individuals as neededValid driver's license and reliable transportationRequirements:At least 18 years of ageA High School diploma or GEDAble to obtain Arizona State level one fingerprint clearanceAble to obtain certifications for CPR/First Aid, Article 9, and Prevention and Support (training provided to you if needed)Experience working with individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities is preferred
