Ensure that no voice goes unheard, and no joy goes unnoticed!ResponsibilitiesPatience and UnderstandingJoy and LaughterCreativity and EnthusiasmWillingness to pass a background investigationProvide compassionate care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a group home settingAssist individuals with daily living activities (ADLs) such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication managementObserve and report any changes in individuals' behavior or health statusMaintain a clean and safe environment for residentsFoster effective communication and build positive relationships with individuals and their familiesCollaborate with team members to ensure the highest quality of careQualificationsStrong caregiving skills with a focus on supporting individuals with developmental disabilitiesExcellent communication skills to effectively interact with individuals and their familiesAbility to assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and provide careExperience in group home settings or long-term care is a plus, but not requiredBasic knowledge of first aid and safety protocols is beneficialWillingness to learn and adapt in a caregiving environment*No Prior Experience Necessary – We Will Train You!You Will Gain:Experience with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities, including autism, acquired brain injury, down syndrome, and many other unique needsDSP caregiving skillsKnowledge of medical, psychological, and social supportsPositive Behavior Supports, relationship building, and communication skillsWage and Benefits:$16-$17 per hourFull-Time (30+ hrs) or Part-Time employment$250 Sign-On Bonus upon completion of trainingPTO, Medical, Dental and Life Insurance; Short/Long Term Disability; Employee Assistance Program; Health Savings AccountOngoing training and developmentAmazing time with the most wonderful people you'll ever meet!
