Job description
An independent production is seeking a talented mid-level Director for an engaging corporate video project. This isn't your typical dry corporate piece; we're crafting a dynamic, interview-driven narrative showcasing a local tech startup's innovative culture and products. We need someone who can bring creative vision and a natural, authentic feel to the storytelling, making the subject matter compelling and visually interesting. Key responsibilities include collaborating with the producer on script refinement, leading the crew on set, eliciting strong performances from non-actors (interviews, B-roll), and overseeing the overall creative execution from pre-production through the rough cut. You'll need a strong reel demonstrating your ability to direct narrative or documentary-style content, particularly corporate or commercial work that stands out. Please specify if you have your own basic directing kit (monitor, slate, comms) though not strictly required. This is for an approximately 1-2 day shoot in Atlanta, tentatively scheduled for late November 2026. Pre-production will involve about 3-5 days of work spread over late October and early November. Compensation is competitive, $ per day. Please send your reel and relevant experience. We're looking to fill this role by December 7, 2026.
