Forvis Mazars is seeking a Director with deep banking payments consulting experience to help grow and lead our Financial Services practice. This role is for an individual who has advised banks, payment networks, and fintech companies on payments strategy, digital assets transformation (stablecoins / tokenized deposits), and operating model modernization.

Forvis Mazars is seeking a Director with deep banking payments consulting experience to help grow and lead our Financial Services practice. This role is for an individual who has advised banks, payment networks, and fintech companies on payments strategy, digital assets transformation (stablecoins / tokenized deposits), and operating model modernization.
The Director will serve as a client-facing payments strategist, leading complex advisory engagements across retail and commercial banking payments, while also driving market-facing initiatives, business development, and team leadership.
What You Will Do
Client Advisory & Engagement Leadership
Lead banking payments advisory engagements, including cards, Fedwire / FedNow, ACH, RTP, SWIFT, digital wallets, and emerging payment & settlement rails
Advise bank executives on payments strategy, modernization roadmaps, and regulatory impacts
Translate complex payments ecosystems into actionable recommendations for executive stakeholders
