Job description
The Director, Media Buying & Acquisition is responsible for leading Meaningful Beauty's customer acquisition strategy across all paid media channels, including Paid Social, Paid Search, Affiliate, emerging acquisition platforms, and acquisition-based email programs. This role oversees media investment strategy, acquisition efficiency, and cross-channel growth planning to drive scalable revenue growth.
This leader works with the Director, Growth Marketing & CRO to optimize post-click conversion performance and partners with Content and Ecommerce teams to ensure cohesive acquisition and monetization strategies.
This role serves as the strategic lead for acquisition performance and customer growth, balancing traffic quality, media efficiency, and scalable acquisition economics.

What You Will Do
Lead paid acquisition strategy across all performance marketing channels
Oversee budget allocation, pacing, optimization, and scaling initiatives
Drive acquisition efficiency and customer growth through data-driven decision making
Continuously evaluate new channel opportunities, platform capabilities, and media trends
Own promotional and sales calendar for acquisition
Media Performance & Optimization
Own media testing strategy across creative, audience, bidding, and channel optimization
Translate media insights into actionable recommendations for Growth Marketing, Content, and Ecommerce teams
Own insights to testing hypotheses calendar and roadmap, including briefing in required deliverables and test design
Monitor and improve key acquisition KPIs including CAC, ROAS, conversion efficiency, and revenue growth
Partner with Analytics teams to improve reporting, attribution, and measurement
Cross-Functional Leadership
Partner closely with the Director, Growth Marketing & CRO to optimize post-click conversion experiences
Collaborate with Content teams to provide performance insights that inform creative strategy
Support Creator Partnerships through affiliate analytics and performance insights

What You Bring
8+ years of experience in performance marketing or digital acquisition
Proven experience managing large-scale paid media budgets across multiple channels
Deep understanding of acquisition strategy, media optimization, and performance analytics
Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills
Experience in direct-response, ecommerce, subscription, or beauty/wellness environments preferred
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into strategic action
