Job description
A leading manufacturer in the Sacramento, California area is seeking a Director of Global Logistics/Transportation to manage their operations.
Candidates Must Have:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Operations, International Business, or a related field is required for this role.
10 plus years of progressive logistics, distribution, transportation and/or global supply chain experience is required for this role.
Demonstrated experience leading global transportation including ocean, rail, air, truck, port and/or intermodal shipping is required for this role.
Demonstrated experience overseeing both internal warehousing and third-party warehousing/logistics operations.
Experience managing logistics budgets with spend at or above $60MM, preferably above.
People leadership experience in a logistics function.
