CONFIDENTIAL RETAINED SEARCH | Director of Global Procurement | Atlanta, GA
We're conducting a confidential retained search for a Director of Global Procurement with a global manufacturing organization.
This is a hands-on leadership opportunity to build and shape a global procurement function across direct spend, indirect spend, and procurement operations.
The mandate will include:
Building and leading a global procurement team
Developing sourcing strategies across major raw material categories and third-party manufacturing
Negotiating improved pricing and commercial terms
Extending payment terms and improving working capital
Strengthening supplier continuity and diversifying the supply base
Developing and coaching regional procurement teams
Building dashboards, analytics, and spend visibility to identify and track savings opportunities
The role will have responsibility for approximately $500M in global addressable spend and will lead a team expected to grow to approximately 10-15 people .
We're looking for someone with significant global procurement leadership experience , ideally within a complex manufacturing or chemicals-related environment, who has a proven track record of building organizations, developing talent, leading negotiations, and delivering measurable savings.
Experience with digital procurement tools, spend analytics, and private equity-backed environments would be a plus.
