The Director of Campus Operations provides operational leadership for scheduling services, event execution, and campus coordination activities across all locations. Reporting to the Executive Director, this role is responsible for implementing departmental strategies and ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery of scheduling and event-related services. The Director oversees Campus Operations Coordinators and the Scheduling Unit, translating departmental priorities into effective workflows, staffing models, and service standards. This position ensures efficient room assignments, coordinated event logistics, and accurate scheduling operations that support academic and administrative needs. The Director serves as the system administrator for Coursedog and is responsible for maintaining system functionality, data integrity, and user adoption. Through strong operational oversight and collaboration, the Director ensures that campus operations are responsive, efficient, and aligned with established policies and institutional expectations. The Director provides direct operational support to the Executive Director and serves as the designated lead for Campus Operations in their absence, ensuring continuity of operations, decision-making, and communication within established policies and authority.
Reports to: Executive Director, Campus Operations
The hiring salary for this position will be from the min to mid-point of the salary range advertised. This position is open until filled.
30 % Event Execution & Oversight
Oversee the execution of all campus events, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and adherence to established policies and service standards
Ensure appropriate coordination of staffing, space setup, equipment, and support services
Direct implementation of standardized event procedures across all campuses
Monitor event execution outcomes and address operational issues in real time
Ensure alignment and coordination with Facilities, IT, Public Safety, and other support units
30 % Scheduling Operations
Direct the daily operations of the Scheduling Unit, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and efficiency
Serve as the institutional administrator for Coursedog, including system configuration, governance, user access, training, and optimization
Implement scheduling policies, priorities, and workflows established at the executive level
Oversee room assignments for academic courses, events, and shared-use spaces
Resolve scheduling conflicts and competing priorities through structured processes
Ensure data integrity, system performance, and continuous improvement of scheduling operations
20% Revenue & Utilization Tracking
Oversee tracking and reconciliation of event-related revenue, fees, and cost recovery processes
Ensure accurate billing, invoicing, and financial documentation
Monitor and report on space utilization, scheduling volume and demand
Analyze operational data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improved efficiency
Provide regular reports and recommendations to the Executive Director to support decision-making
20% Staff Supervision & Operational Leadership
Provide direct supervision of Campus Operations Coordinators
Establish daily workflows, service expectations and accountability measures
Monitor staff performance, provide coaching and support professional development
Ensure consistent implementation of processes and service standards across campuses
Lead internal coordination efforts to align scheduling and event execution functions
Act on behalf of the Executive Director, as delegated, to provide leadership, make operational decisions, and ensure continuity of services during their absence

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required in business, management, or related field
Minimum of 5 years of conference scheduling, planning and/or events management
Preferred Education and Experience
Preferred scheduling software experience
Preferred college environment work experience
