Job description
Lead AI partner ecosystem strategy with Microsoft as the primary alliance and complementary channels.
Enable and influence Sales and Account Management (AM) through relationships, partner activation and joint go-to-market.
This is not a direct-selling role: no customer account ownership, personal closing quota or negotiation/closing accountability.
Alliance and enablement responsibilities Own executive partner relationships and Microsoft field alignment. Recruit and activate complementary partners around shared AI priorities, introductions and joint pursuits; prioritize productive engagement over recruitment volume. Shape joint AI propositions and go-to-market with technical teams. Proposed focus: enterprise generative AI adoption, copilots and agents, data readiness and responsible AI, using Azure AI, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio and Fabric where relevant. These priorities do not assert existing delivery capabilities. Equip Sales/AM with partner-backed AI narratives, use-case guidance and reusable offer materials. Facilitate introductions, partner field alignment and co-sell. Orchestrate workshops and campaigns with marketing and technical teams; coordinate applicable partner-program support and incentives. Sales/AM owns customer accounts, account strategy, selling, proposals, negotiation and closing. Technical teams own AI architecture, solutioning and delivery. The VP enables and influences these teams rather than assuming their responsibilities.
Qualifications
Senior alliance/channel experience, including Microsoft, with credible executive relationships and evidence of partner activation and services Sales/AM enablement. Bring AI business fluency, executive communication and influence without authority. Translate AI adoption themes into practical propositions and enablement; personal deal-closing experience is not required.
