Job description

Location: METROHEALTH MEDICAL CENTER

Biweekly Hours: 80.00

Shift: 8:00am -4:30pm

The MetroHealth System is redefining health care by going beyond medical treatment to improve the foundations of community health and well-being: affordable housing, a cleaner environment, economic opportunity and access to fresh food, convenient transportation, legal help and other services. The system strives to become as good at preventing disease as it is at treating it. Founded in 1837, Cuyahoga County's safety-net health system operates four hospitals, four emergency departments and more than 20 health centers.

Summary: Leads the strategic, operational, and administrative functions of the Northern Ohio Trauma System (NOTS), serving as the principal coordinator for a multi-hospital regional trauma network. In partnership with the NOTS Advisory Board Chair, Medical Director, participating hospital and EMS leaders, and other regional stakeholders, directs the development, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of the regional trauma system plan, governance structure, clinical protocols, and performance improvement activities. Oversees integration of shared data, quality benchmarks, education, outreach, and financial resources to advance consistent, high-quality, and cost-effective trauma care across the region. Serves as the primary liaison among participating organizations and ensures network operations are aligned with applicable regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards. Represents NOTS at the state and local legislature, working with its participating health system government relations teams in advocating for improved trauma care. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer services standards of The MetroHealth System.
