Director of Accounting & Financial Systems
$175-200K
We are partnering with an established organization in the construction industry to identify a Director of Accounting & Financial Systems. This opportunity combines accounting leadership with ownership of financial technology, process improvement, and operational reporting.
The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in accounting operations along with hands-on experience managing, optimizing, and improving ERP systems. This role is especially well suited for someone who enjoys solving problems, leveraging technology, and building more efficient financial processes.
Position Highlights
Lead accounting operations, including general ledger, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
Own ERP administration, system enhancements, integrations, and ongoing optimization
Identify opportunities to automate accounting workflows and improve operational efficiency
Enhance reporting, data integrity, and financial visibility across the organization
Partner with accounting, operations, and project leadership to strengthen processes and internal controls
Drive system improvements, documentation, and user adoption
What We're Looking For
10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
Strong understanding of accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls
Hands-on ERP administration, implementation, or system optimization experience
Demonstrated success improving processes through automation and technology
Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel proficiency
Experience partnering with operational leaders and cross-functional teams
Experience with construction accounting, job costing, WIP reporting, and project financials is highly desirable. Familiarity with construction-focused ERP systems is a plus.
